Catherine Martyniuk, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist, specializing in anxiety management and performance improvement. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Arizona State University, and then went on to complete her master’s in forensic psychology at Marymount University. After this, she completed a second master’s degree in counseling, and graduated with her doctorate degree in clinical psychology from the Alliant International University, California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego.
Dr. Martyniuk is a trained Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach to improving our mood, mind and overall life satisfaction. Whether you want to improve your performance, improve your communication skills, or increase your self-confidence, CBT has been shown to be helpful in all these areas and more.
Dr. Martyniuk’s experience includes working with individuals who are focused on shifting their lives from a “surviving” mindset to a “thriving” mindset. Her specialties include stress management, mood management, performance enhancement, assertiveness, mindfulness-based interventions, as well as interpersonal skills training, performance, and trauma.
Dr. Martyniuk is passionate about assisting others on their journey to peace and personal growth. Dr. Martyniuk loves helping others find their purpose, so that they may live a life with meaning, courage, and passion. She integrates performance psychology techniques with evidence-based cognitive behavior therapy to collaboratively examine issues clients have and address them with purpose.
